Superlative in to comparative

Subject + verb + comparative + than another + ext

1.      He is the oldest man in the village.

2.      He is older than any other man in the village.

3.      Chittagong is the biggest port in Bangladesh.

4.      Chittagong is bigger than any other port in Bangladesh.

5.      Maradona is the sest footballer we have ever seen.

6.      Maradona is better than any other footballer we have ever seen.

7.      *Of all থাকলে সে খেত্রে of all এর জায়গায় than all other বসে এবং of any এর পরিবরত than any other বসে।

1.      Hakim is the noblest of all men.

2.      Hakaim is nobler than all other men.

3.      Manic was the greatest of all kings in India.

4.      Manic was greater than all other kings in India.

One of the যুক্ত superlative –কে comparative degree – তে রুপান্তরিত করার নিযম।

1.      Fahim is one one of the tallest boys in the class.

2.      Fahim is taller than most other boys in the class.

3.      Saudi Arab is one of the hottest countries in the world.

4.      Saudi Arab is hotter than most other country in the world.

5.      Runa is one of the prettiest girls in the class.

6.      Runa is prettier than most other girls in the class.

Positive in to comparative

No other যুক্ত positive positive কে comparative degree রূপান্তর

Ext + verb + comparative form + than any other + subject

1.      No other boy in the class is so good as he.

2.      He is better than any other boy in the class.

3.      No other city in Bangladesh is so big as Dhaka.

4.      Dhaka is bigger than any other city in Bangladesh.

Very few যুক্ত positive degrees কে comparative degree – তে রুপান্তর করার নিযমঃ-

Structure: - subject + verb + comparative form + than most other + ext

1.      Very few metals are as costly as gold.

2.      Gold is costlier than most other metals.

As ------ as যুক্ত positive in to comparative

Structure; subject + verb + comparative + than + subject

1.      He is as tall as his brother.

2.      His brother is not taller than he.

Comparative in to superlative

Structure: subject + verb + the + superlative form + ext

1.      He is better than any other boy in the village.

2.      He is the best boy in the village.

3.      He is taller than any other boy in the class.

4.      He is the tallest boy in the class.

5.      He is taller than all other boys.

6.      He is the tallest of all boys.

7.      Than most other/ than few other যুক্ত comperative degreeকে superlative degree –তে রুপান্তরিত করার নিয়ম।

Structure:- subject + verb + one of the + superlative + ext

1.      Dhaka is bigger than most other cities in Bangladesh.

2.      Dhaka is one of the biggest cities in Bangladesh.

Positive in to superlative

No other যুক্ত positive degree –কে superlative degre তে রুপান্ত্রিত করতে হলে নিচের নিয়ম মনে রাখতে হবে।

Structure:- ext + verb + the + form + naun,

1.      No other boy in the class is as tall as Sabbir.

2.      Sabbir is the tallest boy in the class.

 Very few যুক্ত positive কে superlative degree তে পরিনত করার নিয়ম।

Structure: - ext + verb + one of the + superlative + subject.

1.      Very few boys in the village are as small as Sohel.

2.      Sohel is one of the smallest boys in the village.
